All staff we came across were all so lovely and friendly, from reception to breakfast to night porters! Also loved the decor of the lobby and the room we stayed in, so modern and beautiful. Breakfast was great, nice selection of cereals and pastries, can order hot dishes such as pancakes or an Irish breakfast which hit the spot !

The room was nicely decorated, spacious and warm with a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable and there wasn't any noise to disrupt a wonderful night's sleep. The shower was pretty powerful and there was an abundance of hot water. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and the fresh fruit salad was particularly good. We found the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The ambience in the hotel was lovely if a little quiet. The outside of the hotel could have done with a spruce up. Eg remove the dead flowers in window boxes. ( there is a garden centre next door) A problem easily solved. The room was small but sufficient and was very clean. The room had been done up as had the bathroom and looked well. The one issue was the broken cistern lid which was cracked.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful in so many ways. The room was lovely, overlooking the garden, and on ground level which suited my mobility issues. The bed was very comfortable and supportive and the room was very soundproof. TV and kettle in the room. Breakfast was superb a huge choice on the menu. Dinner food was very good - they have a very good chef.

Beautiful idyllic setting, old world hunting lodge well maintained had been painted, lovely antique furniture in common areas and comfortable, bed room was tastefully and brightly decorated, fresh and clean family room. We had requested on same entrance level for my Mum who has limited mobility with stairs.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable .. especially Trish who greeted us late at night and made us feel so welcome. Kilcoran Lodge is a beautiful old Victorian building with lots of character and original features .. a magnificent reminder of past glories. The beds were very comfortable.. the cooked full Irish breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared.

Great staff who were very helpful including Sean who updated us on local slang. It was a very easy place to hang out in for a couple of days being very centrally located to many of the local attractions without the crowds. We couldn't be bothered going out for dinner as it was too easy and comfy to just eat in and toddle on upstairs afterwards. Bedrooms are very generously proportioned making it very relaxing.

The staff were very helpful and attentive. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were just as we like them. The rooms are tired but comfortable. The place would gain a lot if they put in a playground on the grounds or the guests could walk in the woods behind them instead of driving to the woods near by. The swimming pool is a great thing to have and a great way to spend an hour or so on a rainy morning
